Who We Are Martin Norfolk, BA Hons In 1986 an early IBM XT personal computer appeared in the corner of a local government office, and Martin was fascinated enough to take a month to find the menu key in Lotus 1-2-3. After a year building his first databases and struggling with early local area networks, he then returned to full-time education to take a degree, majoring in Digital Synthesis as part of a music degree. He then worked as an engineer, travelling the globe for digital audio system pioneers Digidesign (and others) before moving into the mainstream IT services industry. As interest in the internet grew, Martin progressed to developing early e-commerce projects, before specializing in commercial data networks in 1998. Simon Urgilez, BEng Hons, MSc Although he has the demeanour of a South American dealer, Simon is actually our senior engineer, with extensive experience of large scale corporate networks, server and desktop architectures, messaging and database systems. Since studying for an MSc in Digital Signal Processing, Simon has become a qualified Microsoft, Novell and Cisco engineer. When an irresistible force meets an immovable object, we call Simon to arbitrate. Herman Serrano Super talent... major biography to follow. Peter Weaver, MCP After 15 years of working in the print industry, Peter survived the digitization tsunami that hit the industry in the 1980s, becoming an expert in digital printing systems... which then led to mainstream systems experience. Peter supported large teams of developers, before joining Carbon Networks twice! A safe pair of hands. Alexander Teji, BSc Hons, LLB Hons Graduating with a BSc in Economics, Alex joined the team in 2006 with glowing references and an impressive CV. Being fully involved with all internal operations, he has since qualified as a lawyer and become an invaluable member of the team. Edward Goater, ACCA Ted is the company accountant and we are pleased to announce that he has all the attributes normally associated with the profession. |
